Browns Bay School Senior Cross Country 2026
Browns Bay School annual Cross Country event -
Tuesday, 19th of May (Week 5, weather permitting).
This Cross Country event is for Year 4 - 6 children who choose to participate. We would love to see lots of children giving this a go.
It will be held at ECB Rugby Grounds, Windsor Park, Mairangi Bay. If your child would like to participate, please register them before the cut-off date, 9 am Wednesday, 13th May.
From this event, we will select a team to represent Browns Bay School at the 2025 Super Cluster Cross Country Champs held in Week 7, Wednesday 10th June - at Sunnynook Park between 11am - 2pm.
Children will travel to the event by bus. A payment of approx. $12.00 is required, which will be loaded into KINDO accounts once registrations are closed.
Footwear is compulsory for all runners as part of the health and safety regulations. Spiked running shoes are not permitted. Children will run in a BBS sports uniform.
The course will be run mainly on grass and a small amount of concrete path. The distance is approximately 2km.
